Still life charcohl drawing for Art 230.

The mask still looks funny, but I loved doing the driftwood. I think charcohl may be my favorite medium to work with, but it's so messy that it's hard to get started. For whatever reason, the combination of the mask and the driftwood, shell, and dark blue cloth (which you'll have to take my word on) made me think of all the people who've drowned at sea and will never be identified, the water making their skin pale and wearing their faces like a stone until they all look the same.

Wow, I envy people who can use charcoal, I can't seem to get it to look right whenever I use it, but you do a lovely job, and I adore this picture. Keep up the good work!

Lovely work, my charcoal drawings have never been that detailed, but then again I prefer pencil and ink XD
